Help! I am having major problems with my 95 grand am. It has been in the shop for a week now and they are baffled as to what is going on. It was idling really rough one night and didn't really have get up and go. It seemed like it wasn't getting enough gas. Opened the hood and smelled of gas really strong. I didn't drive it that night and the next morning it wouldn't start at all. Previously the low coolant light went on but after adding antifreeze, was okay. Mechanic has ruled out blown head gasket, spark plugs, ignition module, just those things I know of. If anyone has ANY ideas, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Opps,wrong fourm.

This is the GrandPrix fourm here is the Grand Am fourm (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=385)

Im sure a Moderator (GTPDad) will move it into the right fourm.

check the fuel regulator. pull the vacuum line off of it and see if there is gas in it. if so, replace.
