Wanted to know if it putting a stealth engine in a 3000GT body would be the way to go to make the car faster, cheaper, and if would the the smart thing to do. If I can where would be a good place to get a stealth engine.

LOL, the stealth engine and 3000gt engine are exactly the same!!

there is no difference, so if your looking for more power, you'll be wanting the vr4

How hard is it then to swap a regular 3000GT with a vr-4 motor.. Is there a lot of extra work require to meet the requirements for the vr4 motor

R u saying he needs a VR4 over base models or are u saying the VR4 is better then the stealth RT/TT cause the only differnces i know are In 1994-95 some 94s
1) No 4WS (same-phase 4 wheel steering) on the Stealth
2) No ECS (electronically controlled suspension) on the Stealth
3) No automatic A/C with graphic display on the Stealth
4) No power sunroof on the Stealth
5) Manual sunroof is different between the two (I think)
6) Mitsu version has a longer warranty period (all models)
7) 18" 5-spoke chrome wheels are optional on Stealth; 18"
6-spoke chrome wheels are standard on the VR4
8) No active aero system on the Stealth
9) No electronically controlled exhaust on the Stealth

KK that is what i thought u meant just clarfying. Good news sombody just put in there two week notice at advance auto parts i may be getting a interview. HEHEHE maybe getting my Stealth RT/TT quicker than i thought. Btw youngvr4 if a car hasn't had the 60k service done on it how much u think should be cut off the price? i'm buying privatly no dealers for me. There are a few stealth in my aera ranging from 8.5k-5k so i'm jw. Also the stealth TC was also recalled with the Vr4s right? what years was that?

Thanks alot Michael

Edit: Just noticed that the FAQ section didn't have info listed above it came from a Dodge dealer just thought i'd let u know. Trying to give back to the community that has gave so much to me.

well were talking private dealer, i would say no more than $500 off, thats about what it would take to get a 60k service

but if i was a private dealer, i wouldnt give any money down cause it didnt have its 60k service. id say take it or leave it. hopefully you have a nice dealer

Yes, t-case has same problems dodge or mitsu...its the same thing. If you check out 3si.org, there are 2 REALLY informative threads about the t-case recalls that are stickty threads:

http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=116949
AND
http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=78886

Also regarding the TT swap, our FAQ doesn't have all that much, but 3si has a whole section of their forum devoted to it:

I'm hoping that u know if i showed them what needs to be replaced and the dealer prices of the replacments that they might come down alittle. Hey it never hurts to try **usally**

And thanks Igovert500 going to check those articles out right now.
