you all know about my clutch problems.. the stalling and syncros and leaks
but. i think one of these three problems has caused an even greater problem. my baby wont even start up and i know its not the battery cause its new. and my oil light is on. i figured it was the oil, because of the leak, but that wouldn't stop the car from not crankin up, would it? i hope that that is the problem and not something greater like my engine. someone please help. i cant stand to ride the BUS to school another day. im the #1 import in the lot for GOD's sake.
oh yeah, im a noob so break it down easy

the oil light doesn't come on from an oil leak. there must be something internally wrong with the car for it not to start up. does it turn over and not fire or doesn't it turn over at all? more details and we'll be able to help you more.

I would suggest fixng the car then. You can post about it all day, but unless you actually do something its just going to get worse. ;)

all it does is makes this clicking noise for a few second, but it never cranks up, not even a little bit

if it clicks, then i don't think it'd be the ignition switch. starter might have blew. i know in my friends 89 trans am, it would click and nothing would happen at all...replaced the starter and started right up. don't go to the dealer for a new starter. know how much they want? (and no, this is not exaggeration. don't ask me why the fuck these things cost THIS MUCH). $800 somethin and some change. you can get one at auto zone for $120. our starters are easy to replace. good luck with that thing.

yeah they have remanufactured and new ones....there is a core charge for the remanu. the new one is like $120 - $130 if i remember right. and the new ones have a warranty. not sure if the remanu's do or not.

If you purchase a part from the manufacter the price is always alot higher for some reason, don't worry the quality won't be lower if you buy one from Autozone they just simply sell aftermarket parts for cheaper because they know that they can make more money by selling parts that people like us need for cheaper with the same quality as the manufacters or dealers sell.
