try getting them aimed first and then see. check for haze on the outercase or fog on the inside. visual inspecition should tell you something is wrong if they are that bad. but i would have them aimed first.

Your local Mechanic or the dealer can aim your lights. If you were mechanically inclined you could do it yourself.

you can get a HID kit for about 300 on ebay.

any 300 ebay hid kit is shit. you need the right lens for hids otherwise you are a hazard to other drivers and i hope they go blind and run you over in their hummer.

hid light spreads completly different then a standard halogen bulb. putting hids in a standard housing just makes lots and lots of glare.

i would recommend either the piaa's or silverstars.

first clean your headlights and get them aimed though. also are you sure that they both are working and you havent burnt out a bulb?

I have the same problem w/ my headlights. Sometimes passengers ask me if my lights are on. The 1g (non-flip up) just have poor lights from the factory IMO.

its cause that lexan material they are made of sucks ass, it ages really badly. here is an easy fix man. buy yourself a pair of Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. you can get the pair for around 30 bucks at discount auto parts or walmart. then buy a little bottle of rubbing compound. use a clean cloth and wipe the lense over with the rubbing compound, you'll see right away how it goes from being yellow stained to clear white! try it dude it worked for me every time.

It worked for about 8 months when I did it......8 months later....do it again.
I used a liquid squirt bottle of rubbing compound. stay away from the canned stuff or the paste stuff. any squirt bottle rubbing compound should work fine.

its a chemical compound like wax, except its desinged to srtip away paint rather then protect it. Its in the "body repair" section of any autoparts place. like I said stay away from the paste stuff, get the sqeezable bottle.
