Hi all,

Does anybody know if Mr. Selldorff still visits these forums?

I have been trying to contact him via PM and wondered if he still comes here. I notice his last post was at the beginning of January so thought I'd double check.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I think he checks in here rather infrequently these days.

Also, results may vary depending on what sort of questions/requests you send his way.

Hello,

I agree with Erik.
So, it is your first post here, why not make a little presentation ? :)

I would ask him for one of his McLarens, but that would be a waste of his and my time :D

What exactly do you mean? I have gathered pretty much all the images off the net of the LM (my specific interest) but you probably have all them anyway.

I'll throw this open to everyone then - basically I am doing a CG version of the LM (interior incl.) and need reference pictures in order to accurately recreate this stunning car. If anyone has any interior shots that would be cool. I'm particularly after general shots showing the whole interior as well as some detail shots. Further, if anyone knows of any publications that have suitable reference shots maybe they could scan them or something.

I will be more than happy to show you the finished car.

Many thanks

I'm still here. I check in quite a bit, but don't always have the time to respond right away. I apologize to those who've asked questions without a reply, I'll try to do a better job of responding going forward.

I just got back from the show at the MFA, it was nice, but the F1 was in a horrible location behind a wall and in a corner. Basically they treated it like it was second class. oh well. you could only see it from the front and one side. one of the doors was open so it didn't really show it's lines that well. I'm sure there'll be lots of pictures posted, they were allowing picture-taking without any problems.

Good afternoon Frank.

I learned who you are through my unending interest in the McLaren F1LM and through my talks with Peleton. As you will probably agree the car is basically a work of technical art.

I speak for many when I say that it is very disappointing that hardly ANY video exists of a car so special. What I would do to just hear that car just put aggressively through a few gears. Turner's videos on the net are like a tease and leave you wanting more, much more, its intoxicating the way that V12 sounds when its pushed..the Enzo cant compare.

The straight cut gears must REALLY get loud? Can you truely attest to the LM version having extra kick at any certain rpm since it breathes better?

Would you consider making a short, safe, video in the future so this beautiful work of art can officially be shared with the world in video format?

thank you for your time, Id even be happy if you answered to tell you the truth.

Regards
