i have a 92 beretta GTZ and i've put a lot of stuff into it so i like it a lot. problem is is that i keep blowin the engine and its hard as hell to find em. it had a stock 2.3L quad High Output. i blew that. then i finally found another one from a 95 grand am. quad 4 2.3. then i blew that too. is there something with the engine or wat cuz my friends got the 3.1 v6 in his beretta and hes never blown it or is it cuz i have a manual. wat ever it is would it be finacially wise to not get a new engine and get a new car/truck? or get a new engine. if so whre the hell do i find an engine like that in central MN.

I have a 96 Beretta Z26.... I'm putting a Typhoon Stage 1 Supercharger in it.. this thing adds about 15-20 hp at the crank and about 250 CFM at 6,000 RPMs.... my original engine had to be replaced with a standard SFi 3100, it has a real problem with getting hot and its been running a little lean lately.. drinking gas like hell.... can it actually sustain this supercharger? Or will I blow this thing?

Shouldnt a super charger add more than 15 hp? Sounds like a cheapy. I agree with the above person, if you are going to bother modding do it right and put cold air intake on it and go from their. That'll still add 20 horses and even possibly give it a nice sound.
