Can anyone help me with the issue on hand, i have removed the factory radio, wired up the the harness, great but the unit will not fit because of the plastic a/c duct that runs across the back of dash, it is shaped somewhat like a triangle. i can i go about cuting and routing this a/c duct? any good ideas

I'm guessing that the factory head unit was shorter than the new one, and you're running into length issues. If you're willing to disassemble your dash, you may be able to lengthen the space the head unit sits in. I seriously doubt you'll be able to do it without taking it apart (i.e. through the single DIN opening) and still have working AC when you're done. Another option is to put something else in the radio spot and bolting the new one somewhere else on or under the dash. Not the best option at any rate, but something you could consider if you don't want to take apart your dash. If you feel confident in your ability to redirecting the A/C duct, go for it.

I SEE, BUT IT NOT LENGHT, IT IS HEIGHT TOURS THE BACK OF THE UNIT TOP BACK SIDE RUNS INTO THE A/C DUCT, DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN GET STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS TO TAKE APART THAT DASH BOARD?

I actually have no idea... maybe someone else here on the boards knows how to do it. If it's the top, you might be able to rig some sort of brace that pushes the duct up far enough that you can just sqeeze it under. There's usually a little give in the parts, and you might be able to get it in there.
Anyone with more experience want to give some input?
