Well my project is finished and well you guessed it just like I did when I finished my turbo project I am selling it. I am going to look for a stock D16 to put in my civic and use as a daily driver. So here are the engine specs:

1) 97 D16Y8 block bored .020 over ($220 for block $60 for bore)
2) Knife edged crank ($100)
3) New topline main and rod bearings ($70)
4) JE SRP Y8 10.5:1 c/r pistons with JE rings ($430 for pistons $80 for rings)
5) Eagle H beam rods ($320)
6) Block notched for rods ($50)
7) Y8 head port and polished ($210 for head $460 for p&p)
8) Oversized valves, new retainers, springs ($600)
9) adjustable cam gear ($95)
10) Delta 272 cam ($125)
11) new oil screen filter (goes inside oil pan) $15 from Honda
12) new Honda OEM seals and gaskets all the way around. Every one replaced. About $350-400
13) New pump (oil is $119 from Honda, water was $70 something from honda)
14) New aftermarket headbolts ($100)

Asking $1600 obo

To some of you this may seem like a lot to ask for a Y8 but look at the stuff on it. This is a "new" egine that is fully "built". I have over $3k in the motor so this is a real loss on my part. I will also sell the following along with the motor if interested:

DC 4-2-1 header ($235)
Akimoto racing sport intake ($150)
Moroso red plug wires ($75)

I will include all three of these for an extra $150

Any other questions just ask.
