Im so pissed

Ok.... heres the scoop.... im driving through town on Saturday and ive never had any serious problems with cars... well im putting along in my Z24 and i went to shift from 3rd to second cuz i was coming up to a stop light..... i pushed the clutch in and it just shot to the floor.... and i couldnt engage into any gear!!! so i managed to coast into a ford dealership parking lot but my bumper was still like 6 inches out into the road... well i go ask a sales rep if he would please help me move my car out of the road.... he says... and i quote "sure i will be over there in just a second" i was like " thanks" and i went over to my car and called AAA (im so glad i have them) :) well they dispatched a tow truck and told me to sit tight.... so i waited for about 15 minutes for that sales rep to give me a push... he had gotten rid of the customer he was talking to when i asked him and gone back in his office for about 5 minutes.... he comes out when someone else shows up. On his way out he looked at me and just glared at me... i was thinking to myself "yay hes gonna come push me now" so i got out of the car and just as i was about to wave at him he goes and takes the new people on a dam test drive!!! can you believe that shit???!!!!!! i was royally pissed.... well i got the car moved with the aid of the tow truck driver and we dropped it off at my house... no big deal..... so i got my 83 cougar running great again (i hadnt used it in like a month) and it was going great all weekend... this morning i go out and notice that the starter didnt crank over.... my cougar had crapped out on me as well!!!!! i either have bad luck or cars hate me... so it turned out to be the starter was bad and i bought a new one and put it on and now it runs great but im still pissed!!!.... and im not sure but i think its the slave cylinder that went out on my cavalier since i ca develop pressure from the master cylinder to the bleeder valve but as soon as i connect it to the slave cylinder it loses all pressure.... and brake fluid pukes out of the bell housing.... any input or comments are appreciated...


P.S. : Ford dealerships are officially ass holes

yep... ford. Their blue oval even circles the problem.

Off topic about your problem, but Its not just the dealerships...their cars are shit too! I know from experience and vowed to never buy a ford again.

As for your problem...I have no idea what to tell you. I'm not that great on cars, and what I do know of them is because of experimenting on mine. Ask me something about your pc problems and I may be ablet o help you though!

You clutch is dead! The throwout bearing has gone through the pressure plate finger springs! New clutch and flywheel skim on the cards!

nope...^ i just got my car back from the mecahnics... 876.79 dollar bill... it WAS the slave cylinder.... but while they were in there my step dad made them put a new clutch in... now the pedal feels really funny... maybe the didnt bleed the lines very good...

You had a new clutch so I'll rest there but It could also have been the cause. but slave cylinder yeah! Goddam hydraulic clutches! I never had problems with cable clutches!

nope, the clutch was still at about 50% cuz i wanted to see just how worn it was... for 80k miles it was in hella good shape
