92 Bonneville alignment

The right tire on my 92 Bonneville touches the inside wheel-well when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Does this means it is out of alignment?

I had it aligned today and it is still pulling to the left and is still
touching the inside of the wheel-well when I turn the steering all the way to the left.

By mistake, I told them it was a 91 when it was a 1992, is there a difference in the alignment specifications? I noticed the mistake when I got home and saw the receipt.

Thank you

Not necessarily out of alignment. You could have a weak spring or strut that is causing the car to drop too low causing the tire to rub. Also, you may have tires that are too large for the car. The alignment shop should have noticed any problems with the ball joints and bushings when they aligned it so I doubt there are any problems with them. Finally, does it only do this when you turn all the way to the left or does it do the same thing when you turn all the way to the right? If so have the front springs checked to make sure they are not broken or damaged, this could be your problem. Also check the sway bar. As for your alignment question, call the shop and tell them of the error. They will be able to tell you if you need to bring it back in or if the alignment is OK. Besides it may be a typo. Good Luck!

It rubbing happens only when turning all the way to the left and only with the right tire. The tire is the correct size and nothing appear to be wrong with the suspension. The surface on the wheel-well is not bulging. I am going to switch tires to see if anything changes, but the tire looks fine.
