I may be looking for a 3000GT with quite a few miles on it and one that is a project. I maybe looking to spend up to $2000 dollars for one. A BIG maybe. I am 15 years old and have money saved up for a car for when I turn sixteen. I have much more interest in this car than any other for my first car. I live in Nazareth, Pa which is about 20 miles from Allentown, Pa. So if there is any one in a descant distance looking to sell there project 3000. Let me know....Post up^^

for 2000 dollars your gonna have a hell of a project on your hands. you might be looking at a whole new engine for that price.
most vr4's even with high miles is gonna run about 6,500 to 10,000 depending on were you live
a broke recked blown engine vr4 may cost 2000 but even that will be difficult to find. good luck on you looking though, maybe someone on here can give you a point in the right direction

Aiight thanks. Like I said I know it'll be hard to find one for this price that's why I'm starting to look now. I'm sure by the time I turn 16 I'll definately have over 2,500 but I would like to have a car for when I turn 16. Ya know? Yeah well. What ya gonna do. My favorite car but can't afford it sounds common. Well post up anyways if you have an offer to give me. Postin' Up^^^!!!

fyi you can't afford the insurance on a vr4, let alone the vr4 itself.

It done sold but it was a roller so u would still have to come up with the money for engine/tranny. Honestly if u that kind of a budget grab a FC3S or 2 gen supra. If get the supra swap the 2nd gen TT engine and you'll pretty good to go. Then wait and save and trade your car in for a Vr4. I'll behonest with u get a car with fairtly good to little power for your first car. I had a 93jimmy then i switched to my camaro. I've a tone of ppl in my aera get a powerful car to start with and next week the car is gone and some part of there body is in a cast.

Have you tried your local junk/wreack yard? Or auctions? Car auctions/Police auctions usally have nice cars for VERY cheap. Also Read the faq so u know what to cheak for on a car i printed the faq out and made a book so when i got to start checking out stealths i can ask if these or that has been done. You know like did they take the transfer case back b/c of the recall? Has the 60k service been done? If not then u could say well it normally costs 500-1k and get that took of the price tag. So just make sure u do your reasearch.

Was it orginally a TT,RT,ES? If it wasn't a TT orginally and u want to be don't uhave to change the rear axel or front one? The FAQ on the 3KGT TT swap should be the same at doing it with a stealth.
