Rodeo stalls when idle and shut off engine

I have a question.

The other day when i was at the drive thru my car engine shut off and i had to restart the engine. Once i started the engine everything was fine again. The engine seem to idle high. Any suggestions? I am the original owner and recently had the manifold and fuel pump fixed under warranty. The dealership said something about the oxygen sensors and wanted to charge me $350 to replace. Would that have anything to do with it?

I am thinking about just getting rid of this car. Been having problems with is since i bought it new. Granted everything was under warranty but still is a pain to keep on having to drop it off and be without a car.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

This is a 2000 v6

If this only has happened once it is probably a fluke.

If you're worry about it, disconnect the battery for 15 minutes to reset the ECU and see what happens then.

Also, it woun't hurt to look around it see if everything is connected (check to make sure the intake is on tight).

Yes it is a 2000 Rodeo V6

was there a recall or something about it? It actually happened twice in the last week.

no recall.

Sounds like a plugged EGR, or leaking IMG.

I would have the codes read (or see if any are present).
