Exhaust Cost

Hey guys i own a 2001 Galant 2.4L LS.Recently one of the pipes on my exhaust cracked and seperated from another pipe.It seems that i need to have everything from the Catalyic back (cataylic to muffler) replaced.I was told the entire job including parts and labor would be around $575.00 cash.Does anyone know if this price is kinda high or what? Should i get some more estimates before i decide?

Also, i has the part the cracked welded back together as a temporary solution.Anyone care to suggest how long such a weld can last? I was told a couple months.

Just get an Aftermarket exhaust. Cat Back for liek 200 and install for like 70, itll sound better and look/ perform better. I suggest the Greddy Evo II...sounds freaking bad ass.
