ABS Craped out light on

Need some of the most common reasons why ABS light is on. Intemitten
ABS light will come on, no ABS brakes, then light will go off ABS working.
Right now light more on than off. Lots of snow and ice usual for this time of year. Lots of brake pad, changed them 4 mo's ago.
Just looking for the most common reason might try to fix but is big deal and much money no ABS is just fine with me.

Try cleaning the wheel sensor connections and check for the obvious like loose or broken wires first.

I was out throwing dougnuts in the mall paarking lot after the freezing rain before the trucks got to it and my ABS light came on. IF it bothers you so much and you cannot fix it just disconnect the battery. Mine went off a few minutes after I was done doing dougnuts.
