And how'd you kill an m3 in a 2004 Max? The 350z has a hard time handling one (driver's race) so I find it hard to believe a stock 04 Max can hang with one, let alone beat it.

Man, I don't even know how a Z could hang with an M3. I actually got to drive an E46 M3, and no N/A VQ pulls like that, period. The only possible way to beat an M3 in a Maxima would be if he missed like 2 gears. As far as the 300C, those things make like 390 lb/ft of torque and trap over 100 mph in an automatic, so that one is also very doubtful, too. Good wish list, though, for a boosted juiced max.

it's a good match up between a 3.5 max and an E36, an E46 would kill it though, i have doubts about the 300c too.



oh and 136mph in my 4th gen and about 130 in the 2k2, as stated in the other thread.

Man that thread you linked to is ridiculous. What I got from it is that stock M3's have gotten into the mid 12's, and stock Z's have gotten into the mid 13's. With both cars professionally driven, M3>Z

Anything can happen on the street though. Mis-shift, poor traction, etc. A kill is a kill.

yes, this topic has been beat to death many a time...apparently my 2000 SE auto has a speedlimiter at 133...my fastest has been about 131 or 132, so I wouldn't know if that's a fact...although I ran next to my friend's '02 stang GT and he said his speedo said 135...so who effin knows.

What are your RPM's at that speed?

I believe they were about 5100 or 5200 RPMs...way below redline
