Please help my 3000gt start

I have a 1994 SL. It was recently overheated and I took it in to have new head gaskets, well i also had fully ported manifolds including throttlebody runners and heads. After they started putting it all back together they said that I was missing a cam sensor...I know It was with the vehicle when i brought it in. I have gone round and round with them and basically i pulled my car from their shop and I was told all i need is that sensor. I hope that is right. It cranks but it doesn't start...I checked fuel and it isn't pulsing the injectors but i have pressure in my rail, I checked the wires and there is no spark from them...Could that sensor be the problem..I have many pictures but i dont know how to add them to the post...I have a sensor with 2 connectors on it and it is flat and black and on the back side it is metalic...i am thinking it grounds to something cuz there are 2 holes for bolts...i have a plug coming from the injector pulse housing and it has no where to connect to...Please help me start my car...
