On an automatic car does rev'ing the car alot in Nuetrual and sticking it in drive mess up the tranmission or anything else in the car?

if you mean revving it up and throwing it into gear while the rpms are still high, then yes, that's very bad and if you're wondering why your tranny is fucked up, that's probably why.

A more safe way of going fast from a stop: Apply the brake, rev the car a bit, then let go of the brake as you get on the gas. I wouldn't call this exactly safe, but it's a hell of a lot better than a neutral drop, what you're talking about.
