Alright I dont really know exactly how to drive a standard so i need help. Im trying to teach myself. Alright I know about when to shift and how to shift but i have a few questions on other things. I know that I cant have the clutch pressed in and then brake or ill stall but can i brake and then clutch, shift, let off the clutch, then let off the brake and go, and not stall.

Who on earth told you that, of course you can put the clutch in, then brake, you wont stall. the only time you will stall when braking is if you dont press the clutch in before you stop. It helps to brake first then clutch so you get some of the breaking effect from the low revs of the engine. If you clutch first then brake you "might" A) skid easyer B) Be too late braking and crash into whatever it is you were braking for.

wow whoever tld you that is a dumb ass, that would negate heel and toe downshifting as well...
