If you compare how many bolts hold down this valve cover and how many are on the B18A, you'll see why it work, especially since they are located in completely different locations.

^ Where did you get that done for $50C? And is that a single stage powdercoat or was it also clear coated?
I found this place on H-T that does the single coat for $50US, and $70US for the single and clear coat. I'm just thinking for the future, not anytime soon.

why on earth would you clear coat powdercoat.....that stuff will outlast anything on the planet.....powdercoat wont chip if you drop a 10lb wrench on it.....its soooo tough.....clearing it would just be a cash grab.

The clear coat will make it a lot shinier, maybe it's just the site I was looking at: http://www.trgperformance.com It doesn't have anything to do with making it more durable, it's jsut cosmetic (the clear coat I mean).

The ones on that site that have to clear on it look almost like glass, it's that shiny. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that just a regular powder coat job won't be shiny. I just think that some colors might look a little better with an extra shine to it. And some of those colors on that site say that you have to have the clear coating on it, to get it to look like the pics. I was just curious.
