Hey everyone, i need some suggestions or a solution..every time i get out of my car I get a shock and its actually enough to hurt. I have absolutley no clue why I get them, me or the car?? lmao....suggestions please...:D

stop wearing wool clothing? Its winter and thing tend to become more electrostatic and i get them too wearing my columbia jacket and fleece jacket. Tap somthing metalic before you get out of your car and oh... becareful when filling up your car with gas... there have been people killed from gas igniting.

holy crap are u serious killed hmmm I guess I thought that maybe it was the car, I too have a columbia jacket and thats what I usually wear.

could be the cause... ya like when you fill up your tank.. touch somthing metal so if a spark is going to discharge let it happen before your fueling your car. There has been 3 occurances of that i know of. So in the winter i also tap the support beams of the gas station. Sometimes i get a shock other times i don't.

that would suck bad..to catch on fire..or blow up lmao....ahh....crazyness it when i get out of my car..and go to shut the door..when i grab the metal to shut it i get the shock..guess i could try not touching ...its just a habit i guess..now that i heard that guess ill be more carefull
