Price varies from place to place. The pan service is a flat $70 at a local shop I go to,(That's dropping the pan, cleaning it and the magnet inside the pan, new filter and gasket(s)) the flush treatment costing just a hair under $100. There is no need to put any additives in transmission fluid if you stick to routine, scheduled maintainence. There has been no benefit that comes to mind in additives unless your of the mind to use them to help flush out a slightly misbehaving tranny before it is properly, and fully serviced. A good dose of Trans-X 100 miles *before* it is taken to the shop for a complete flush and pan service can help keep the insides clean. I would not recomend leaving ANY additive in a tranny you want to keep for long. Fresh fluid is rich with detergents and solvents by it's very nature so changing it on schedule as recomended in your owner's manual is more than sufficient. Additives in a bottle are only of any value on a tranny that you think is already dying and on it's way out. At that point, you have nothing to loose. ;)

Just make sure they flush before they drop the pan and change the filter.
Should be about 130-150 but it is worth it.
Trannys are so expensive.
