Anyone have any advice.
Last month I had my fuel pump replaced. I have a 97 Astro with 176 Km on it. Every since though It was replaced I felt It was eating to much gas. Fuel gauge going down way to fast. So Saturday I took a long trip and on the ay home I gassed up. I got about 20 miles out and looked down and my gas gauge was at half. When I got home I turned off and the fuel pump continued to run and was super loud for 20 seconds.
It seems now whe I step on the gas its got no pop and lags now.
Anyone have any thoughts about what could be wrong. My mechanic told me it was the fuel pump before but I am beggining to suspect it might be something else.

You should check your fuel pressure . It sounds like the pressure regulator is bad.
