hmmmmm.....
could be the ECU....
not sure - what does it exactly do?
try disconnecting the battery for like 10 mins. then hook it back up - see if the ECU will reset itself...
worth a shot -
need more info on what the car is doin - thats prob. why nobody else has hit this post yet....
u said u fixed the timing right?

if your stuck in 3rd gear in an auto, it means you are in failsafe mode. Your auto tranny is throwing codes because something could be wrong with your transmission. I would get that checked out right away.

If your timming was slightly off and you turnned her over then I would be seriously worried about the internals. Timming is serious man.

as far as the tranny I think it might of just gone bad. get it checked soon.

Just like hotshot said your in failsafe mode says it in the manual. Your car stays in 3rd gear which is suppose to be safe so you can drive to the dealership. My car had the same problem and it was the computer chip which tells the car what gear to go in was bad. Ended up costing me $1,000 to fix which i could of got fixed for alot cheaper.

yea, mine went into failsafe mode after installing my shift kit. Pulled that sucker back out, and found out that i forgot to reinstall a shift control clip :nono: but i reinstalled it and the valve body and it was as good as new.
