I have owned my eclipse for maybe four months. Of those four months, It has not been broken for about two weeks all together. I kept having problems with the retainer clip coming off the throwout bearing. I have skimmed over dozens of crankwalk articles, without really reading them. If I had read them I would have realized all the signs were there. So I dropped my tranny for the third time since buying the car, to put a new retainer clip in. What the hell, I reach over and grab the flywheel and give a good push/pull. Needless to say, chalk up one more victim to crankwalk. Any sympathy is welcome. A 6 bolt motor is also welcome.

Well, let me blow your minds some more. Flip said he wouldn't take any money for it, he just wanted to help out a fellow DSM'r. You won't meet many people like that in your entire life. I'll get him back somehow lol.

Yep, I'm still here. I haven't had much time to work on the engine. I got the bottom end together, and eliminated the balance shafts. Now I just gotta find the time to put the rest back together. I got a 14b for dirt cheap, and some other goodies. I haven't posted on this forum in a long time. I haven't seen you on my IM lately, where you been? When I get the clipse back together I'll try to come down to Texas to show you what I've done (all thanks to you)
