guys i have a 2002 eclipse RS 5 spd and i was wondering if I should buy a set of TSW Revo's (18" w/new tires) for $500. It sounds like a good deal, but I am concerned that the wheels will rub. Does anyone know anything about these rims or if they think the wheels will rub. Any comments will be helpful.

you didnt mention the off-set and those other kind of IMPORTANT specs. but for the most part, they shouldnt rub. you might loose some acceleration though. bigger wheels are harder to turn. i myself dont like bigger rims. infact i sold my 17" konigs last month and went back to the stock 16" rims with a nice set of yoks. your brake rotors and drums will look silly with those big pieces of "bling".
what are they off?

Ive seen the wheels you are talking about and a good set of 18x7.5 should not rub at all. you should keep your style critisizisms to yourself. wheels won't slow you down if they are bigger. they slow you down if they are heavier. brake rotors and drums won't look silly if they are not rusted or dirty as hell. and if they are, you can fix that.

i wasnt talking about rust, the SIZE! the stock rotors and drums leave a big space around the inside of the rim. it will look rather awkward. and yes the wheel will be harder for the engine to turn, the ratio has been changed, and more tire is on the pavement. and the man asked for any comments, i made it clear that it was my own opinion.
