Probly just took two photos and chopped um togather, or used panorama softwere.
That is a neat pic though, the big one from the URL Bumped out the 340R I had on my desktop wallpaper :)

If you read the text on the page it says they used 100's of pics and put em together.

no it wouldnt be light on one side and dark on other be cuase the earth rotates on its axis, and is also rotating on a tilt, elementary stuff...........
