The D's and B's are completely different motors. The D-series motors are SOHC engines and B-series are DOHC engines. You should have a D16Y8 in there now, the plates do get hard to read sometimes. But there are pretty much different versions of each motor, both USDM and JDM. The JDM motors tend to have slightly more hp and slightly higher compression. With the JDM engines, it's usually a code like D16, where the USDM will have a little code after that like D16Y8. I'll try to cover all the different B-series for you.
B18a/B18b - Integra LS motor (Older/newer; respectively) I believe the USDM model has the engine code of B18b1 instead of just B18b. This motor has 142hp
B18c - Integra GS-R (though often that code is used when talking about the Type R motor as well, so it gets confusing some times) The US one (B18c1) has 170hp and the JDM has 180hp.
B18C R - Integra Type R. This has 195hp US (B18c5) and 200hp JDM.
B16a - Civic SiR, SiR2, Integra XSi, '99-'00 US Civic Si, Del Sol. All of the US versions (b16a2, b16a3)have 160hp, as well as the older ('88-'91) Civic SiR's and the Integra XSi. The '92+ B16a Sir2 has 170hp.
B16b - Civic Type R. This motor is a JDM, EDM only motor, none made in the US. It has 185hp.
The D-series motors have changed their codes over the different OBD's. The d16 vtec engines from '92-'95 were the D16Z6 and had 125hp. The d16 vtec engines from '96+ had the D16Y8 (the one you have) and had 127hp.
Here's a little engine list (with cars they came with), there are more complete lists out there though: http://www.integra.orcon.net.nz/engines
