85 cj7 gas hog

I have an 85 cj7 with a 258 and a weber carb and it averages 10 miles to the gallon. I don't know what it should get but I would assume around 20 mpg. It seems to start okay as long as I pump the gas a couple times before cranking.

Any help would be much appreciated.
