went down today

Hey all

its been a rough weekend spent all sat night on the bog with food poisoning, then went down tonight and beat my self up pretty bad.

i was on a straight about to turn left into a T junction, there is an island in the centre of the T junction i was turning into, when i was about 15 metres away i saw something ni the road and tried to change my line around the outside of the bit of plastic in the road, i missed the plastic but misjudged the corner and hit the curb. Not really sure what happened it was all so fast bike hit the curb then hit "keep left" sign, i think i went over the top, i got a handle bar in the middle of the chest, so i cant use my chest muscels at all, i thought i broke my wrist but it seems ok now, but my legs and back r pretty scrated up from the road.

just lucky i had full gear on! otherwise id be in hospital now, not typing on my pc.....

The bike suffered more than me i think, couldnt c all the damage but so far.... scratec faring, bent exhaust on the right hand side, smashed off my indicators and my foot rest, the handle bars on the right are also bent up a bit.

FUCK! the bike was uninsured aswell, Still im here to talk about it and it could have been alot worse especially if id hit the sign not the bike.

well live and let learn ppl.....we all go down....eventually

Next time just hit the plastic. I think there will be a little more give than the curb.

yeh is all good guys im fine now just a little sor for a week or so, fine now all the road rassh has gone and my chest is pretty much better, only thing is my wrist is heeps sore sometimes, like cant lift weights that well yet, lol

ok the bike has scratches on the right exhaust, slight dent in the left one, small dent in the fuel tank, fairing at the back is cratched up bad, small chunk missing from the front aswell, right handle bar bent upwards and front break seizing, both indicators gone aswell as the right foot rest, freaking front break lever broken (again!) right exhauset slightly bent aswell.
all in all its not too bad hey, fairing will need a bit of body filler, i think i can relace everything fairly easily, ill just have to live with the exhausts i guess but they arent too bad any way.

ill give it a full respray and relace the damaged parts
