Snapping sound from passenger front side

For the last few months, every time I turn right, I get this snapping sound in my front passenger side of my car. It kind of sounds like a snapping of a rubber band except at a really low frequency or tone. Before the snapping sound though, for the past few years, I used to have a squeaking sound in my front right. I had the dealer look at that and they said the bushing fell out of the control arm. I had them fix it and the squeak went away for a few years. Then it came back a few months ago. So I take it the bushing fell out again. But now the squeak is gone but replaced by this snapping sound on the same side. I don't know if I let the squeak go to long to where it got a lot worse or what. Maybe their not related at all. I don't know.

Something might ber catching the cv boot and then releasing it causing that snapping sound? :2cents:

Could be the strut mount.

You know, when I had the control arm diagnosed, they also did say that the strut mount's bearing was bad. But the tech said it wasn't that big of a deal and just to put some grease on it to get rid of the squeak. But my mom was just saying yesterday that her car had the same problem and it was the strut mount. But I don't think I can do the strut mount myself so I think I am going to be taking it in for that. (I am terrified of working on the struts. I can imagine me taking one off and having it shoot itself through a wall.)
