head swaps

ok, i searched and i didnt find what i was looking for. heres my question. will a 1st gen lazer head fit on a 2nd gen gs block?if so, does it flow better or worse or the same?and it should be a easy swap if it does fit right?

Unfortunately, lazers did not come in any trim with a head that would fit onto the engine in a 2g GS. What you might be thinking is taking a 1g head, and bolting it onto a 2g block. This is compatable, but regarding what your asking, that cannot be done.

how much? try putting it on dsmtrader.com or check the wanted ads there

ok hold up hold up he said he has a GS. NO nothing 1g will fit on it or 2G turbo you have a 420a motor. i have no clue what they are talking about up there. Again you cannot swap heads on a 2G GS-RS with a 4G63 or the 1.8

oh and yes the laser did come with a 4G63 also

ok so after discussing it with my buddy, we've decided to have it ported and polished and a serious cleaning, already been checked for warpage(none) and gonna sell it as a performance head.since it was a 4g63 head, will it fit on the turbo motors AND n/a motors? might be some helpfull advice to possible buyers. and once again... if anyone on here wants it...just ask im sure we could figure out a deccent deal.
