R32 Rebuild

Well, this originally was my second model ever built. It was red if you guys remember it:)

So here is what happend. The paint started to get an orange peel after a while. Lots of parts kept falling off and more glue kept being added, leaving spots. Hood cracked in two pieces (fixed with super glue technique). Right side A pillar cracked:( Fixed with crazy glue:)

Ok so after like 3 weeks in Brake fluid:lol: The car was fully stripped. At that time i had also received my Ferio model. So i decided to mess around with my airbrush and used this car as the dummy for any errors, if that made any sense. The Color is Alpine Green Pearl by Dupli Color. The body was airbrushed and the hood was sprayed out the can. The hood might be painted black. The way the can sprays the color is sooo different than how it comes out through the airbrush. I might try to fix it. The body has been clear coated. Needs to be polished. The car will be made Curbside, engine bay will still be red. Poor RB26 will never see the light of day anymore:( I might put a GT Wing on it, to hide those dumb holes i forgot to fill.

Yea, I did find the rear trunk lip that the kit came with. I will have to paint that and apply it over the holes and hopefully not need to use the GT Wing. With all these really hot Skylines with Racing Hart CR's that have been posted in AF lately, I decided to put some CR's on this baby:). They will most likely be painted Silver. :) They are vurrently in the good ol' Brake Fluid:)

Yup, I still have almost 7/10th of the paint left:lol: You save soo much paint with an airbrush:)
