Finished BMW Z3. First Post

Hey Everyone. This is my first finished project post. I thought I would share my Z3 with everyone since it was a little different than what is normally seen around here. I built it as a gift to resemble my father's car. I tried to get as close as I could to the orginal BMW rims. The rims that came with the kit weren't worth the waste of a trash bag I used to throw them away in. I am still trying to learn how to take pictures correctly. I am having a hard time getting the yellow tint out of my pictures.

Very nice! Very clean build and that paint is great. What did you do to solve the rim problem? Your interior is great too, especially the A/C controls. Absolute class! Welcome to AF!

It is the Tamiya Kit. I don't know if there are any other versions. I painted the AC details with alot of patience, a drop of paint, and a dental tool. For small details, I have always used either a toothpick, or for very very small areas, a dental tool to paint with. Its amazing what you can do with an itty bitty tiny weenie drop of paint!

BTW Thanks everybody for the comments. Hanging around this place has really improved my skills and motivation. I am already almost finished with my second build for the year. I usually average one car every five years or so... haha
