I recently purchased a 2000 Sonata. It came only with valet keys. I was unable to find out the Master key number even though I went to local Hyundai dealer with my VIN. The trunk WAS openable with the driver seat side lever. However the last time I opened the trunk, I probably left the lid knob lock in the up (lock) position resulting in being unable to open the trunk from the driver seat side lever. Also I don't see a way to fold forward the rear seats. What is best way to break into trunk minimizing destruction? Can locksmith custom-make a key? Does the dealership have some "master" key?
