Wow, same old same old. Some loser high schooler gets beat by a Civic and he feels the need to come on a forum and talk smack. If you're not a high schooler, then I suggest you go see a pychologist, therepist, or counseler asap; because your ignorant comments show you have some personal issues to deal with. Happy banning.

$30K, are you serious? You could break into 12's for a lot cheaper than $30K; more like half that.

i could make a 12 second car for 5k. you people pay for the civic name and look. all you need is 5 grand and a caravan. if you cant break 12 with 10k and a civic you need to reevaluate whats under the hood. any more is just a waste

full drag turbo kit on a gsr hatchback with drag radials can be had for 8k, and will get you into hi 12's, then just build internals and increase boost and if you tuned it right youll have a 11 second dragster methinks. not too sure, anyone with 30k for a civic should just get an nsx :)

How about taking into account of the price of the car. You could buy a Civic shell for a few hundred dollars. I bought my '94 for $1750, the body is perfect and incredibly clean. And I didn't buy my car for the name (but yes for the look), I also bought it because it weighs a little over 2000lbs. So with the weight advantage on my side, I can spend $12,000 (including price of the car, suspension upgrades, motor swap, and turbo kit) and I get it into 12's. I don't know many cars, domestic of import, in my area that could run that fast for that cheap (unless they are gutted and track only cars). You choose to go one way with your domestic car, and we choose to go another way. You need to learn some respect for all forms of automobiles. It's not like most of us don't hate the high school ricers out there with their huge wings, altezza tail lights, huge body kits, 19" rims; and then rev on anyone they pull up next to. But you need to realize that in a lot of areas (like mine) there are far more domestic cars that are riced out yet still slow as hell.

Yeah this post was reported 2 hours ago. Funny to know how many PMs I've gotten telling me to report a post instead of commenting on it, yet it's not taken care of for hours. Maybe one of the mods needs to PM me again and let me know exactly how the "Report Post" thing actually works (or if it works), so I know whether to just rip into people or wait till it gets handled :disappoin

Does this thread even deem a reply? Ok I'll bite.

You know you think you are special by thinking you are the 1st one to come onto a Honda board and be a bigot. Yeah you beat an econo box WOW that is some major balls to be spilling. I mean come on the Civic was designed to get you from A to B.

I've seen riced out everything. I think your little world is a bit skewed at the moment if you think only Civics are rice burners. I've seen some riced out Devilles with 22" spinners and neons.

But I'd hope you be beating a little Civic:
2000 Civic Ex 4 cylinder 1.6L 125hp Civic.
2000 Deville 4.6L V8 engine making 275hp.

But yeah you've got major balls showing that ricer. If you haven't notice most of us hate those types too. I'd bet you $100 I'd beat you at an autocross. Ok so I said it :) So go back to your forums and keep boasting about that Civic you beat. You are such a grown man!

daewoos are the exception to your little 'respect' lecture. h.s ricers as you call them are the losers i origninally directed this post to. not you people that pissed away 10-20k on a civic. scream for your moderator mommy all you want. doesnt do you a damn bit of good. dont hide behind the moderators just say what you want or leave it

edit - Fuck it. Nice to see the mods doing their job. Yeah let's try to make these forums better people. Oh they've gone down hill over the past year or so, so let's try to make it better. You members who have been here a while should try to set an example for the new members...blah blah blah.
Maybe things would be better in these forums is the moderators did their job. But that's a crazy idea isn't it...
