Check on the drivers side inner fender there is a white ceramic ballast resistor. It's for fuel pump try jumping the 2 terminals. If you need picture holler Dale jeepman600@sbcglobal.net :banghead:

motor was running fine in a 88 cherokee.original motor in 92 was seized.so trouble is after distributor was removed from 88 and the 92 distributor installed after i set timing mark to 0 deg and rotor set to #1.iac is visually not new, what can i clean it with?throttle body visually looks ok,how do i clean that?does anyone know if my initial timing attempt is wrong.i dont find any disciption other than top dead center which is 0 deg ....right?fuel pressure not yet determined... thanks
