1996 Syklark - trunk light problem

Hey,

I recently bought a nice 1996 Skylark - nothing special, but not bad either :-) However, the trunk light doesn't work.
I checked the bulb - it's okay. Then I used my multimeter to find out what is wrong and figured out that none of the wires to the trunk light bulb are either +12V or -12V - regardless of whether the trunk lid is open or not.

I was trying to find any switch or contact that might actually activate that light but couldn't find anything. Can someone please tell me how the trunk light is activated and where the orange cable to the light bulb is coming from? It seems it is disappearing under the right hand side rear seat...
