Crappy Y-pipe noise

Ok guys, over the summer I bought an aftermarket y-pipe for my car, and I LOVE the performance gains, and for the MOST PART, the sound...but from about 2700 rpm up, I can hear a faint rattling noise coming from the y-pipe(not the rattling associated with it not being bolted on tightly enough)...anyways it sounds pretty ghetto and I was wondering if there was anything I can do to make the tinny-sounding rattling noise(how's that for a description?) go away? :uhoh:

it's the flex section of the pipe. it rattle as air passes by it. not much you can do other than heat/thermal wrap that section. my y pipe on my 95 did it too

My check engine light is on and the code is P0430 catalytic converter efficiency below threshold (bank 2). I heard somewhere that this maybe an onboard computer issue that may only require a program update for the computer in the car. Has anyone heard of this or know how to fix the problem. I really want to finally fix this. Please help!

It's a good thing I have leftover DEI thermal wrap then, lol...from your experience, will it get rid of the tinny rattling noise completely, or just make it sound less-ghetto?

your right it is not technically a converter but rather a three way catalyst system...anyway can you help at all with my question?

Might be transient: take batt off for 5-30min to clear ECU. If it comes back, try to seek from NISSAN TSB
