4 cyl TBI Swap

Im a newbie to this site i jus want to ask if anyone knows if i could swap the stock 4cyl TBI on my '88 Wrangler with a 6cyl TBI along with intake and exhaust would it bring me more horse power and torque and also could someone tell me where i could get a crankshaft

You can -- my friend just put the TB from my 4.0L on his '88 2.5L. He had tried the larger aftermarket (62mm) TB but got too much airflow (pinging on hard throttle).

will a 4.3 tbi fit on a 2.8?
