91 Protege horn will not turn off.
Disconnected the neg terminal on the battery to stop it and loosened the two? screws that hold the horn pad on the steering wheel
Connected the battery and horn blared constant unless I applied pressure to the horn pad that I had just loosened
I want to remove the horn pad completly and check the horn contacts for corrision.
Anything special I should know when I remove the horn pad??
Has anyone else had a similar problem and fix

You have to replace the horn pad...they cost about $10 at the dealer.
