I believe I am screwed

Today, I hooked up an HID ballast to my stock OEM wiring harness, and now I think I am screwed. My high beam on that side only doesn't work, and when I put in a regular halogen on the low beam, it barely lights up at all. I am since changed to a relay obviously to prevent further damage, but what do you think I ruined, and how do I fix it? Thanks a lot!

Usually when you get that it's a bad/loose ground. Secondly how did you wire up the ballast for the hid's? Did you check the ground on the ballast and the igniter?

I stupidly plugged it straight into my OEM harness and probably ended up frying it. I have since switched over to a relay harness and everything is ok, except for the fact that my passenger side high beam won't work.

Are you using true hid? (W/ igniter and ballast) or imitation HID? that plug directly to the bulb?

Check your grounds on the core support.

I have no idea what that means, or even where the core support is located.

The core support is your entire front body support, the radiator core is bolted to it, hence the name Core support

Its weird, because on the passenger headlight, wires lead off of it and plug into a circular shaped object on the passenger side front quarter panel, and other wires go all the way across the front of there the radiator is, so I find it weird that only the passenger side isn't working, while the drivers side works perfectly. Because of this I had to use that harness as my trigger for the relay, which I guess isn't a big deal it was just a pain in the ass to get all the wiring to that side and make it look clean.
