First post, first honda....
I just bought a 88 Prelude SI, and I haven't even looked at it yet. It has 157k miles, and I bought it for $325. It does have a broken timing belt, which I should be able to fix (don't know about engine damage though), but if you ask me, thats a good buy!!!! I will look at the car tomorrow and have it towed to my house, where I will do the work on it. I hope everything is in good sounding order though.... Let me know if you guys think this is a great deal or a bad one, just curious.....

Sounds like a good deal man. It would be nice if you could slap a timing belt on and drive away. Hopefully there was no valve damage. If you run into any problems pm me. I have an 88 si as well. I spent every sunday over the winter doing mods. She will be ready for paint this spring.

Sounds awesome man, you should have fun. I love buying old beaters for less than 500 dollars and bringing them back. Good luck!
