I just bought this car and it has a couple of problems that I need to chase down. The most pressing, is a multiple display of readings on the fuel level. Most the time it reads "E" and says low fuel. I am assuming that the sending unit is the culprit. Is there an access panel to the unit through the trunk or does the tank have to be lowered? Thanks, Curtis

You're going to have to drop the tank, at least that's what I had to do with mine. I changed my tank, sending unit, fuel pump and straps. You will also have to disconnect your exhaust to move it out fo the way, it all boils down to being a royal pain in the ass! I had to do it all with the car jacked up & NO room to work with lol... :(
