ive been looknig for a supra for a real long time, and i might have found one. heres the description:
This is a 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo with 52000 miles on the motor and under 500 miles on the head. I bought this car as my first car and loved it from the day I picked it up. Unfortunately the head gasket blew not too long ago so I decided to rebuild the top end and add on a few modifications. Most of the work was done from the previous owner who had owned his own shop and actually did such a nice job with it, it was listed in turbo magazine. The car runs good and strong, but should really be brought to a shop like dyno-time to get it profesionally tuned. Anyway, here's all the specs on it...3.0 liter engine, Brand new top end with HKS metal head gasket, upgraded GREDDY turbo(professionally rebuilt), custom welded 3in Borla exhaust system,($1200) high heat spark plugs, new starter, HKS adjustable suspension, HKS vein pressure converter, Greddy turbo timer, K&N intake filter, JVC head unit with PICT, all brand new, top of the line speakers, nissan 300zx alloy rims, new tires, red painted front calipers, all wheel disk brakes with drilled rotars, new light assembly(from 1988 supra), spoiler, targa top, rear defroster, maroon leather seats, aftermarket intercooler, radiator was just checked, pressurized, and painted, front strut bars(upper & lower), red wire loom done to whole motor, lightly tinted windows, brand new TOGA oil pump, aftermarket fuel pump, power locks, windows, driver's seat, and side mirrors, alarm system, TEMS, and over $1000 in spare parts from throttle body to oil pumps. Like I said before, the previous owner did a lot of work on this car and there may be more done to it, but this is all I know of.
im gona try and get it for 5000. if he dosnt have the reeipts of the new gasket, is there anyway to tell if one was installed? thats the only thing im afraid of when buying this car.

If that's the only thing that is worrying you about buying the car is the head gasket, it's not too big of a problem. Changing a head gasket doesn't take too much time if you have the tools and know what to do. As long as your sure that that could be the only thing wrong with the car, I'd say go ahead and buy it. Good luck and remember to do your research before jumping into it. But as long as that's taken care of, welcome to the family :)
