I learned how to remove the driver's side panel from your other posts to fix a broken power window, but how do I remove the power mirror knob? I can't take off the panel until I do this! It operates like a joystick, but I can't figure out how to get it off, and I don't want to break it.
Thanks, stonebridge

Hmmm....have you tried removing the door panel yet? My memory is not real good on this, but it seems like when I fixed the power window, there was no big deal about the mirror joystick. After you take all the panel screws out, the panel is pulled out slightly at the bottom and then the whole things slides vertically upward with kind of a 'snap'. Seems like the joystick travels with the panel, and then you reach behind it and disconnect it's wiring harness.
Like I said, my memory's bad on this, but I would try that first....obviously if the joystick is resisting, don't yank the panel upward and break something.
