Hi Guys !

I have some Techincal questions I hope I find answers about it ..

1-What is the Traction problem ?
2-what are the reasons of the traction problem and how to get rid of him?
3-why there are people using Supra Fuel pump ?
4-can the 3000GT engine hold up to 1000ps or more ?
5-Why americans Big block engines can hold up more than 1500PS?

Thanks

1. Not sure WHICH traction problem you are refering to
2. There are many ways to reduce traction problems, but like I said, I'm not sure which you are curious about
3. The Supra fuel pump flows more fuel than the stock vr4 fuel pump. Those with larger turbos are pushing more air into their engines and require extra fuel to compensate that extra air...so they upgrade fuel pumps and fuel injectors.

4. Stock it comes with 320hp, which is ~ 324.5ps if my calculations are correct. Currently there are only a select few 3000gts at that level. They don't make that kind of power on stock blocks, but with fully-built engines with much more stronger internal components. Because of a lack of aftermarket support, aftermarket parts are expensive (comparitively speaking to other cars) so few have the financial means to build such high hp cars, but like I said, there are a few up there that probably have near 1000ps at the crank.

5. Well once again, it isn't everyday you see an American big block driving around with 1500ps...that isn't an easy feat and requires alot of money, time, and dedication, etc. However, the reason they can achieve such high numbers, is because of their large displacement. Large v8 engines can have 2x if not 3x the displacement our engines have...this offers such a larger base for potential power. Not to mention, they are very common, and have TONS of aftermarket support, aftermarket research, and aftermarket parts...the market for modding an American v8 is probably the largest aftermarket car market ever, with decades of history, experience, and everything else going for it. 2 clear advantages that make it much easier, cheaper, and common to build more powerful v8s than smaller displacement import engines.

Well any car has to be launched correctly. Now it depends which 3000gt you are refering to...the base and SL models are FWD and they therefore can have traction problems if launched incorrectly.
The vr4 is All Wheel Drive and has no traction problems whatsoever.
