6th gen civic, how do you get the interior trim pieces off to access tjhe rear deck? are they similar to the doors, where they just pop off with little clips?

You have to pop out the rear quarter panel pieces. It's a bitch to get them back in though. Also the door sil trim has to come out to get the quarter panels out. The rear deck also has three long black bolts with hooks on them (can't miss em). I believe the deck pops out. It's been so long since I tore into mine. The whole process sucks, it brings back bad memories. Also there are huge styrofoam pieces glued to the back of each quarter panel. Be careful not to rip one off.... trust me I know! Good luck!

The door sils just pop out. I "believe" eveything else just pops out. But just be careful, like I said it's been a while since I've done it last. Probably like 2 years. Keep me updated.

yeah basically what you are going to do is remove the quarter panel located underneath your rear windows by prying them out and moving them forward towards the front of car because as you will notice they are wrapped around the door jam. Once you have them popped out you can take the deck off, but the quarter panels don't have to come out completely, just enough to get the lid out.
