99 Stratus ES no start

I have a 99 Stratus and yesterday it started acting funny when went to start it. Today after I left work, would not start. All I hear is a clicking noise, which I assume is the starter. It is not turning. Battery is only a year old, and spark plug wires replaced recently. Any ideas?

clean battery post and terminals, as well as the area where power hooks up to the starter. you can take your batt. into autozone and they can tell you if its good or not

Just because the battery is only 1 year old doesn't mean that it's still good. They fail too. Get a jumpstart. If it still doesn’t start and you still have a clicking noise only, you probably have a bad starter. Remove the starter and try bench testing it before you replace it. Auto Zone should be able to test it for you if you need help.
