2000 wrangler 4x4 blinkers

i have a 2000 jeep wrangler 4x4, and the blinkers and hazards are not working, and it is not the fuse. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?? and if you do, how easy is it to fix?? any help would be greatly appreciated....

Could be either the switch or the flasher unit under the dash.

The turn signals do not work, but the brake lights do.

I'd suspect the flasher unit then, as in many vehicles it's the same unit that makes the lights blink.

It should be under the dash on the driver's side.
