Hey guys, I just got a 1996 maxima TOTALLY STOCK! i want to spice it up to a teenage lookin car (it came to me from my parents so i guess u could say it looks kinda farty) anyway i put some tint on it and a Back windshield sticker on LOL! thats about it. i have very limited funds and was thinkin of clear corners..
1. what exactly is a "Clear Corner"
1b. How much are they (for a whole set)
2. How much would it be for some chrome rims dsnt have to be fancy just something that will sparkle (its the "Gold Package i have but it had chrome trim on it)
2b. how much would a whole set cost?
3. Can i hook the car up with some of those fog light..you know the ones with the blueish tint to them and that go under the front bumper..if so..where do i hook up the brackets to...in that intake thingie below the lisence plate? (were talking about the front here)
3b. how hard would it be to install?

Im not looking for a mircle here i know you guys are hardcore into this i just want to steer away from the '"Family car" Look into a more like Teenage cruise/nightcruise car. i know that sounds korny if you could help me, that would be great, thanks

Clear corners replace the orange turn signals in your front bumpers with clear plastic and orange bulbs, to keep it legal. expect to pay around $35-40 for them online. Look on ebay, they have them a lot. Rims all depend on the size, but remember you also are going to need new tires. Expect to pay between $900-1100 for some chrome 16's or 17's with tires. Shop around at www.tires.com or any of the numerous dealers to get some ideas. While your at it, I would also lower your car, or suffer from the Max 4x4 look. Some H&R's will set you back about $200, but the ride won't suffer much and you'll get rid of all that gap. Good luck. :D
